SUMMARY:International Women's Day
DESCRIPTION:8th March is celebrated as International Women’s Day. To honour the legacy of Indian Women in History\, the S.N.D.T. College of Education\, Pune in association with P.G. Department of Music\, S.N.D.T. Women’s University\, Pune organised Music Program ‘Shabdsuranjali’. The program was organised successfully by our B.Ed. students under the valuable guidance of our faculty members. \nThe students of P.G. Department of Music rendered beautiful compositions of Saint Muktai\, Kanhopatra\, Janabai\, Bahinabai\, Meerabai and Shanta Shelke. They also shared information from the autobiography of Lalita Phadake\, Vidya Madgulkar & Sunita Deshpande. \n \nOn this occassion\, we also felicitated Self-empowered women\, who are making a mark in society by stepping out and making most of their knowledge and wisdom. Smt. Jayashri Ranade and CA Jyoti Kasture were felicitated with Constitution of India. \n
