Every year, 28th February is celebrated as the National Science Day in India. This day marks the discovery of the Raman Effect, by the Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28th February 1928. On the occasion of National Science Day, the students of SNDT College of Education visited an exhibition on ‘Science for the People, and the People for Science’ at IUCCA, Pune University.

This visit to the exhibition was a small part of our teaching and learning process, wherein we emphasise on gaining experience as the key to education. During the exhibition, school students have displayed various scientific experiments on aerospace science, physical science and chemistry, and our students got the opportunity to interact with such students.
