M.Ed. Program
M.Ed. Program is a set of theory courses and practical work that are linked together meaningfully aiming at achieving excellence and competence in pedagogic practices and enabling the student teacher to become an efficient and effective school teacher. The said program will end in awarding a degree ‘Master of Education’.
Objectives of M.Ed. Program
- To acquire advance knowledge about philosophy, sociology and psychology of education.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the process of educational research and skill in conducting research in the field of education.
- Explore, reflect on and develop one‘s own teaching practice.
- Develop insight into one‘s knowledge of and update oneself about one‘s academic discipline or other areas of curriculum.
- Prepare for other roles professionally linked to education/teaching, such as teacher education, curriculum development or counseling.
Title : Title of the degree shall be Master of Education.
